Haiti

For our Community Church Lent Project, we will be sending Heart Kits to the current PDA appeal for Haiti. There are 3 ways you can help:

  • Assemble completed kits
  • Contribute components for the kits
  • Make a donation toward more components and/or shipping costs

If you would like to participate, please bring your donations to Margaret in the church office before Easter - or call Sue Arnell if you would like us to collect them.

The Dan Daily Fan Club is Making Plans

Dan is starring in "The Subject Was Roses" by Frank D. Gilroy at the Pearl Theater in New York City. We are planning on going in for the Sunday atinee on May 2nd. The change of date was necessary due to the availability of tickets for a group of our expected size.

More information and sign up sheet are available on the bulletin board in Fellowship Hall. Tickets are $25 per person. Please sign up early to be assured of getting tickets at this price. We have found discount parking in the area and will also have a list of reasonable restaurants in the area. We suggest putting together car pools and making arrangements for dining.

April 22nd will be the cut off date to purchase tickets. We are looking into how to order good weather for that date. If you have questions contact Jim or Judy Davidson.
"Sign up early so as to not be disappointed."

Hey, did you know that we are starting a new group here at the church? We are looking for all young adults in the congregation who are single or married, dating or wahtever, fresh out of college or in a career. You don't have to be Twenty-ish or Thirty-ish to join, just -ish. Right now we are just looking for Fellowship, but bible study and discussion will be part of it too. We hope to see "Letters to God" April 10th. For information, see Sal and Maila Seirmarco.

CPC Swap Shop

Before tossing out all those perfectly good items that are cluttering your garage or basement, think about posting them on the CPC Swap Shop list in Fellowship Hall. It doesn't have to involve a swap... If you have something to get rid of or you need something - just add it to the list with your contact info and wait for the call!

Next "First Wednesday of the Month Men's Group Dinner" April 7th

Carpenters' Club

Carpenters' Club meets the third Saturday each month at 7:30am. If you're not an early riser come at 8am or 9am. Please come and help maintain our biggest asset, "The Church Building". Next meeting - April 17th.

Buy Your Groceries From Church

The Chancel Choir has started an ongoing fund raiser by selling prepaid grocery debit cards to local grocery stores. If you shop at Stop & Shop, A&P, or Shop Rite you will be able to purchase prepaid debit cards in $50 and $100 values. For every card sold the church earns a percentage in return. When your prepaid debit card is empty, please buy a new card from the church to ensure continued support of the fundraising program. If you have a grocery store you would like to see added to the program, have questions or would like to place an order of $500 or more, please contact John Van Dugteren.
